HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR PETS STAY

Vaccinations:

All pets must have proof that annual vaccinations are up to date. Please see below for details of vaccinations required.

DOGS:

Required vaccinations

Rabies Depending on vaccine given could be good for 1 to 3 years.
Booster (Typically would include Distemper/Parainfluenza/Parvovirus) Good for 1 to 2 years.

Recommended/optional

Bordetella Good for one year. Give at least 3 to 7 days prior to kenneling.

CATS:

Required vaccinations

FVRCP Booster (Typically would include Distemper/panleukopenia, rhinotracheitis, calicivirus FCV) Good for 1 to 2 years.

Recommended/optional

Rabies Depending on vaccine given could be good for 1 to 3 years.

What to bring:

Special care instructions

Pet food - sufficient to last the duration of the booking
Medications
Collar (for dogs)

Blanket / bed
Treats
Leash
Toys

Clean beds, mats, blankets and bowls are all provided for your pet. If you do want to bring toys or blankets we will put them in with your pet but cannot be responsible for their loss or damage. We ask that you do not bring bowls as they tend to get mixed up with ours when being washed.

Drop off and Pick up of pets can be done at any time during our business hours.

Booking and cancelling:

Off season we can usually accommodate bookings at short notice, but remember to book early for peak times such as long weekends, the months of July and August and especially over the Christmas and New Year's Holiday season as those dates fill up quickly. Please take a moment to give us a call if you need to cancel or change your booking.

Directions:
In Winnipeg, go north on Lagimodiere Boulevard/Hwy 59 to the North Perimeter. Continue north to the traffic lights at Birds Hill Rd. and turn left. Turn sharp left onto Sperring Ave. Ken-del Kennels is just ahead on the right.
